Management Information System (MIS) |
| |
|
 |
At the Operations Center, the IMPAACT maintains an
extensive set of information files designed to expedite
efficient management and accountability of the
geographically diverse IMPAACT. This MIS provides the
capability of generating numerous standard and ad hoc
reports related to tracking of concepts, protocols,
assays, publications, and the budget. Data is used for
administrative and programmatic planning. Monitoring of
the scientific agenda and operations of the entire IMPAACT
are included in:
- Weekly and biweekly protocol reports on study
development and implementation
- Annual reports assessing the functional
performance of each site
- Publication tracking and status reports
- Assay database reports regarding the number and
type of laboratory assays required by each
protocol
- Tabular and narrative reports to answer inquiries
from NIH, Congress, or collaborators
